Hello! My name is Jen and I’m a multidisciplinary artist living in Portland, Oregon.

Descended from a long line of flower enthusiasts—including my great-great grandfather who was a horticulturalist and flower farmer—I’ve always dreamt of having a garden of my own. Today I live in a tiny white house—with my husband and two cats—on a 5000 sq ft plot filled with flowers.

My cottage garden and the natural world provide endless inspiration for my art. Obviously, I love anything floral! I’m also inspired by folklore, women’s history, antique scrapbooks, craft as activism, vintage children’s books, and cultural artifacts.

I work primarily in cut paper collage and relief printmaking. Though I do enjoy sketching on my iPad, physical media provides the most satisfaction. Recently, I’ve rekindled an old flame from college: ceramics.
